Human Anatomy and Physiology is a two-semester course beginning with A&P 1. The course will cover introduction to anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, macromolecules and basic chemistry, cellular structures and functions, genetics related to transcription and translation, tissues, the integumentary system (skin), bone and skeleton, skeletal muscle and smooth muscle, and introduction to nervous system. The lab is also required with this lecture as both lecture and lab equate to four hours of credit.

Reproductive anatomy and physiology of humans and domestic farm animals. Course will cover gamete and embryo development, fertilization, species specific male and female anatomy, neuroendocrinology, onset of puberty, estrous cycle regulation, parturition, assisted reproductive technologies, and lactation.
