This course will survey the current methods of teaching the flute, oboe, and bassoon in the 21st century. General strategies for teaching and playing each respective instrument will highlighted. Techniques such as minor instrument repairs, purchasing instruments, and sound producing qualities will be discussed. Preparation for a future instrumental music educator will be the basis of this course.
