This is an introductory lab course to basic animal agriculture and production for society. Information about farm animal breeds, anatomy and physiology, how to select animals for production, reproduction and structures, and nutrition will be discussed. It will enhance the lecture portion of the course with hand-on instruction and demonstrations that coincide with the lecture.
